Roof Type

This 6′ x 6′ wooden shed features a traditional gable roof design with a 6′ apex. The roof is constructed from 12mm tongue and groove with a felt covering to keep out the rain and maintain a weathertight seal.

Dimensions

The potting shed measures 2058mm x 1830mm x 1830mm (approximately 6′ x 6′ x 6′). This compact size makes it ideal for smaller gardens whilst providing ample space for a full-length work bench and plant storage.

Construction

Built from premium materials, this garden shed uses quality tongue and groove cladding throughout. The robust frame and flooring ensure long-lasting performance. All timber is dip-treated as standard, though an upgrade to pressure-treated timber is available for enhanced durability.

Treatment & Guarantee

The shed comes with a standard 1-year parts guarantee and is dip-treated as standard. It should be re-treated within 6 weeks of assembly and annually thereafter to maintain its handsome appearance.

For enhanced protection, upgrade to pressure-treated timber which extends the anti-rot guarantee to 15 years. This upgrade also includes FREE extra-thick 15mm cladding (instead of the standard 12mm). Please note that pressure-treated timber will still require waterproofing upon assembly and annually.

Doors & Windows

Access is gained via a single stable-style door with ledged and braced construction and zinc fittings. The door features a key operated lock to keep tools and equipment secure. The door can be fitted either end of the structure if required.

Large fixed windows run along the entire length of one side, allowing plants to receive an abundance of natural light. An additional opening window provides ventilation and helps maintain a pleasant working temperature during warm weather.

Assembly Information

Please note that specification measurements for cladding, floorboards and framing are nominal (before machining). Variances of plus or minus 1mm may occur on cladding and floorboards, and plus or minus 5mm on framing.
