Palmako Ella 5.4m x 3m Log Cabin Summer House (28mm)

Overview

The Palmako Ella 5.4m x 3m Log Cabin Summer House (28mm) is the most compact of the 6m wide Ella family, trimmed down to 5.4m x 3m for gardens that cannot accommodate the full length versions. It keeps the same solid 28mm interlocking log wall construction and apex roof as the larger Ellas, making it a lower cost entry point into the range without changing the build quality.

Key Features

• 5.4m x 3m footprint, the most compact of the Ella family in this batch
• Solid 28mm interlocking log wall construction
• Apex roof
• Single door entry
• Supplied dip treated, re treat within 6 weeks of assembly
• Free delivery to most UK addresses
• Option to upgrade to pressure treated timber
• Optional professional installation and shed base packages

Roof Types

The Ella is fitted with an apex roof, the pitched two sided design used across the Palmako cabin range. The pitch sheds rainwater efficiently and adds headroom over a flat roofed alternative, keeping the same silhouette as the longer versions in the family despite the shorter footprint.

Dimensions

• Footprint: 5.4m x 3m
• Wall construction: 28mm interlocking logs
• Roof style: apex
• Door: single door entry
• Please allow plus or minus 1mm on cladding and plus or minus 5mm on framing, as these are nominal measurements taken before machining

Construction

Solid 28mm interlocking log walls slot together without nails or screws, a traditional Scandinavian building method that creates naturally insulating, thermally efficient walls. The roof and floor are built to match the wall construction for a consistent finish throughout, and the shorter 5.4m run uses the same log profile as the longer 6m Ella cabins.

Treatment & Guarantee

The cabin is supplied dip treated as standard. Re treat within 6 weeks of assembly, then annually thereafter, using a quality exterior wood preservative to keep the timber protected. For longer lasting protection, a pressure treated upgrade is available, backed by a 15 year anti rot guarantee.

Doors & Windows / Security

Entry is via a single door, with windows fitted to bring natural light into the interior and can be opened for ventilation. All glazing uses toughened safety glass, and the door is supplied with a lock as standard.

Assembly Information

The Ella arrives flat packed with full assembly instructions. At least two people are recommended for the build, and the interlocking log system means the walls go up without specialist tools. Being the shortest cabin in the family, it is typically quicker to assemble than the 6m versions.

Free delivery is included to most UK addresses. Some remote postcodes may attract a surcharge, so check the cost at checkout before you order.

Optional Upgrades

• Pressure treated timber upgrade with 15 year anti rot guarantee
• Professional installation service
• Wooden or plastic kit shed base options
