Construction
Built from premium Nordic spruce, the 44mm interlocking logs are chalet-cut to maximise weather protection. The floor comprises 19mm tongue and groove cladding, supported by treated foundation joists to ensure a long-lasting, hardwearing surface. The roof also features 19mm tongue and groove construction for consistent weather resistance and structural integrity. Door frames are laminated, providing increased strength and improved resistance to warping or cracking caused by extreme temperature fluctuations.
Treatment & Guarantee
The log cabin is supplied untreated. We recommend applying an initial anti-fungal treatment, with annual reapplication to support the five year guarantee. Alternatively, you may paint the cabin to suit your garden design preference.
Doors & Windows
Three large opening windows and fully-glazed double doors flood the interior with natural light and provide excellent ventilation. All glazing is double glazed with safety glass as standard. Rubber seals fitted to both doors and windows enhance insulation and weather protection. The stainless steel door sill cover protects the wood from wear in this high-traffic area, whilst a key-operated cylinder lock provides security.
Assembly Information
Professional installation service is available as an optional purchase. If you prefer to assemble the log cabin yourself, full instructions are provided. Given the size and complexity of this garden building, professional assembly is recommended unless you have advanced DIY experience.
