Roof Types

This model has a traditional apex roof, giving a high roofline and generous headroom, finished with diamond shaped finials for a classic look. The roof deck uses a polyester felt covering for complete weatherproofing, with the same quality roof structure shared across the whole Timberdale range.

Construction

The walls are built from 12mm tongue and groove boards on a 28mm x 28mm frame, planed to a smooth finish. Delivered in interchangeable modular panels, it uses more overall timber than a standard summer house, resulting in a stronger, easier to assemble structure. The floor is solid tongue and groove, promoting airflow underneath to help prevent damp and rot.

Treatment & Guarantee

The timber is pressure treated and FSC certified, sourced from sustainably managed forests, and backed by Forest’s 25 year anti rot guarantee, meaning the wood never needs re treating against rot. The building is supplied unpainted, so you can finish it in whichever colour suits your garden.

Doors & Windows / Security

Access is via double doors fitted with a secure locking system and quality fittings. The doors and six large windows are glazed with 4mm toughened safety glass, far tougher than standard glass and safer for a busy family garden, letting in plenty of natural light while keeping the building secure.

The summer house is delivered flat packed with all fixings and clear instructions, via Forest’s White Glove Delivery Service, which brings it straight into your garden with the packaging removed.
