Roof Type

This workshop features a traditional apex roof constructed from 12mm tongue and groove timber, topped with mineral felt covering. The apex design sheds water effectively and provides maximum headroom throughout the interior.

Construction

Premium construction is at the heart of the Shire Bison. Walls are built from durable 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding, providing excellent weather resistance and structural integrity. The 16mm tongue and groove floor is supported by closely-spaced, heavy-duty bearers, ensuring outstanding solidity and load-bearing capacity. This wooden shed is designed to handle the demands of a busy workshop environment.

Treatment & Guarantee

The Bison arrives dip-treated in an attractive honey-brown finish. To maintain its appearance and validate the 10-year anti-rot warranty, you’ll need to re-treat the timber within 6 weeks of assembly and annually thereafter using quality wood preservative. For a different aesthetic, you can apply coloured preservative instead. A further 1-year warranty is also included, which is not conditional on re-treatment.

Doors & Windows

Access is via fully-framed, spacious double doors that can be positioned on either side of the workshop. The doors feature key-operated locks and specially-designed security hinges for added protection. Two fully-opening Georgian-style windows made from horticultural glass flood the interior with natural light, creating a pleasant working environment.
