Construction

Built to professional standards, the 13 x 6 Palmako Leif features extra-thick 16mm Nordic spruce tongue and groove cladding with readymade wall elements that simplify assembly. The robust 32mm frame provides exceptional structural strength. The floor benefits from foundation joists that improve air flow and prevent rot-causing ground moisture accumulation. Both floor and roof are constructed from the same high-quality 16mm tongue and groove material, ensuring consistent durability throughout the structure.

Treatment & Guarantee

This wooden shed is delivered untreated. We recommend applying an anti-fungal wood preservative upon assembly and annually thereafter to protect the wood from rot and maintain warranty validity. The shed can be painted or stained as desired. Backed by an impressive 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this is a long-term investment in your garden storage.

Doors & Windows

The main shed features wide double doors for easy access and secure storage of your belongings. Doors are fitted with a hasp and staple security mechanism (padlock not included). The windowless design provides additional security and protection from the elements. The attached sheltered storage area features a slatted wall design, making it particularly suited for use as a logstore or bike shelter. This additional storage can be installed on either side of the main shed according to your preference.

Assembly Information

Assembly is straightforward thanks to readymade wall elements and included instructions and fixings kit. However, professional installation may be advisable, particularly if selecting optional roof upgrades such as SBS weatherproof covering, which requires torch-on application.

Delivery Information

Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes, making this substantial 13 x 6 wooden shed easily accessible nationwide.

Optional Upgrades

We recommend considering the following upgrades for enhanced weather protection:

• SBS Weatherproof Roof Covering: A thick, torch-on felt with exceptional longevity and superior weatherproof qualities. Professional installation is recommended unless you have advanced DIY skills.
• Roof Underlay Felt: A simpler felt option that can be nailed on and works as either temporary protection or to supplement the SBS covering.
• Heavy-Duty Roofing Nails: Essential fixings for secure roof installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I install the bike shelter on either side of the shed?
Yes, the sheltered storage area can be positioned on either side of the main shed to suit your garden layout.

Is the wood pre-treated?
No, the shed is delivered untreated. You must apply wood preservative upon assembly and maintain annual treatments to protect the wood and validate the warranty.

Do I need a roof cover?
While the pent roof is weathertight without additional covering, we recommend adding SBS weatherproof felt or roof underlay for maximum protection and longevity.
