Treatment & Guarantee
The wood is dip treated and supplied with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, plus a 1-year parts guarantee. The dip-treatment process leaves the wood with a honey-brown finish. If you prefer a different colour, you can apply coloured wood preservative to create your own individual style. You must follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on assembly, usage and retreatment to validate these guarantees. Built exclusively from FSC-certified timber, this playhouse is environmentally responsible.
Doors & Windows / Security
The wooden door features a large frame and includes a roller catch, daisy-design ring handle and full-length safety hinge for secure, safe access. Two opening windows are made from shatterproof styrene, which is far safer than conventional glass and provides excellent ventilation on warm days. Two air vents fitted to the rear promote good air flow. Fully compliant with BS EN 71 (CE) safety regulations, the Shire Stork is designed with children’s safety as a priority throughout.
