Roof Types
This log cabin features a pent roof covered with Forest’s Premium Felt. The Premium Felt is polyester backed with twice the rip resistance of standard mineral felt and a 15 year life expectancy. You can upgrade to Superior Felt (34kg) with three times the rip resistance and a 20 to 30 year life span, which includes free underlay. An underlay upgrade is also available separately to enhance weatherproof qualities and protect against natural timber movement.

Construction
Built using 28mm thick interlocking logs of kiln dried timber, the walls provide both aesthetic appeal and structural strength. The 19mm tongue and groove timber boards used for the floor and roof are renowned for their strength and weather resistant properties. The floor is further reinforced with pressure treated floor bearers, offering improved stability and increased resistance to damp, which matters for longevity in the UK climate.
The cabin is manufactured using FSC certified timber, supporting responsible forestry practices. Like all garden sheds and cabins, this log cabin must be assembled on a solid, level surface such as concrete.
Treatment & Guarantee
The timber is supplied untreated, so you will need to apply a suitable preservative upon assembly to protect against rot and weathering. This allows you to choose your preferred finish colour.

The cabin is fitted with glazed double doors featuring toughened single glazing throughout. A key operated rim lock provides security whilst the glazed design allows natural light to flood the interior. These features make the cabin suitable for use as a garden office or summerhouse.
