Roof Types
This cabin has a pitched roof built from 19mm tongue and groove cladding, with an attractive overhang that provides shade and weather protection at the front entrance. As with all Palmako cabins, a roof covering is not included as standard: upgrade options include SBS felt, EPDM rubber, Charcoal Felt Shingles or Roof Felt Underlay.

Construction
This wooden log cabin features 70mm interlocking Nordic spruce logs, among the thickest available for garden buildings. The chalet-cut design improves protection against the elements, whilst threaded rods running through the structure provide additional rigidity and wind resistance.
The roof and floor use 19mm tongue and groove cladding, renowned for weather resistance and durability. The floor is supported by treated foundation joists, ensuring a long-lasting surface suitable for years of use. Decorative notch corners add traditional charm.
Doors & Windows
The cabin features extensive glazing for natural light and garden views. Two large front windows, an opening tilt and turn side window, and fully glazed double doors are all double glazed with rubber seals for enhanced insulation.
The double doors include a stainless steel sill cover to protect this high-traffic area. Laminated door frames provide exceptional resistance to warping and cracking from temperature extremes. A key-operated cylinder lock provides security.
Treatment & Guarantee
The Palmako Heidi is supplied untreated. An initial anti-fungal wood treatment is recommended, with annual reapplication to maintain the 5 year guarantee. Alternatively, paint can be applied to match your garden design.
Assembly Information
