Construction
This log cabin features premium Nordic spruce with carefully designed chalet cut lengths, ensuring the building remains completely weatherproof and resistant to rain and wind. The 44mm logs provide excellent insulation and structural integrity. The flooring is constructed from 19mm tongue and groove paneling, supported underneath by pressure treated floor joists. This prevents the base from rotting and significantly increases overall stability, even in damp garden conditions.
Doors & Windows
Double glazed windows are fitted throughout the cabin with rubber seals to prevent heat loss. All windows can be opened to allow natural ventilation and light into the space. The cabin includes glazed doors made from solid hardwood, also fitted with rubber seals for thermal efficiency. A cylinder locking system keeps the doors securely fastened, providing peace of mind for your valuables.
Treatment & Guarantee
The Palmako Susanna is supplied untreated, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred treatment colour or stain. Annual treatment is recommended to maintain excellent weather resistance and preserve the natural beauty of the Nordic spruce. The cabin is backed by a 5 year manufacturer’s structural guarantee.
Optional Upgrades
The cabin is supplied without a roof cover as standard. Select from three roof covering options:
- SBS Weatherproof Roof Covering: A thick, torch-on felt with exceptional lifespan and outstanding weatherproof qualities. Professional installation recommended.
- Charcoal Felt Roof Shingles: Heavy-duty permanent covering that’s attractive, easy to install, and extremely durable.
- Roof Felt Underlay: A temporary solution easily nailed in place, ideal until you add a permanent weatherproof cover.

Delivery Information
The cabin is delivered in flat-pack format. Please ensure you have adequate space for receipt and storage before delivery. For larger garden buildings and log cabins, professional delivery and assembly services may be available.
